It’s one of the biggest tech firms in the world, so it comes as no surprise that rumours regularly circulate about Microsoft .

The latest rumours suggest that Microsoft could launch a disc-less gaming console, dubbed the Xbox One S All-Digital.

Windows Central reports that the new console will be revealed in mid-April, before launching on May 7.

According to the site, the new console will have an identical appearance to the current Xbox One S, but without a disc drive or eject button.

It’s also expected to come with 1TB HDD, and with digital codes for Forza Horizon 3, Sea of Thieves and Minecraft bundled in the box.

However, it doesn’t appear that it will be bundled with Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass subscription service.

The price for the new console remains unclear, but the fact that it’s disc-less indicates that it will be cheaper than other Xbox consoles.

While the rumours are definitely exciting, it’s important to remember that they’re currently just that – rumours.

Microsoft is yet to comment on the reports – we’ll have to wait and see if they’re true!
